Annual Christmas Parade set for Dec. 3

ONEIDA, Tenn. — The 63rd Annual Scott County Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade has been scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 3, at 2 p.m.

In case of inclement weather, the parade will be held on Sunday, Dec. 4, at 3:30 p.m.

This year's parade route will be unchanged, beginning at HBD Industries on Industrial Lane and traveling north on Alberta Street to Municipal Drive (Traffic Light #6).

Complete list of rules and application for parade entry.

Visitors to Scott County for the annual Christmas Parade can broaden their holiday experience by touring Christmas in the Park at Oneida City Park. Tens of thousands of lights transform the City Park into a festive holiday atmosphere in memory of Scott Countians.

The Big South Fork National River & Recreation Area, headquartered in Oneida, is open daily throughout the year. Its visitor center is staffed each day to field questions and offer suggestions to guests. The 115,000-acre national park is a premier destination for hikers, equestrian riders, mountain bikers and sight-seers.

Brimstone Recreation, LLC, located in Huntsville, offers trail rides and ATV rentals for use on its 20,000 acres of managed ATV trails in Scott County's Cumberland Mountains.
