The 69th Scott County Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade will step off at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 2, in Oneida.

The parade will follow its traditional route, from HBD Industries on Industrial Lane to Oneida Elementary School on Claude Terry Drive. The parade route will follow Industrial Lane east to Alberta Street (U.S. Hwy. 27), and follow Alberta Street north to Traffic Light No. 5 before turning onto Claude Terry Drive.

The inclement weather date is Sunday, December 3, at 3 p.m.

The registration deadline is Wednesday, November 30, at 4 p.m. The entry fee is $20 for floats and $10 for horses and vehicles. The entry fee is waived on one emergency unit per organization. The late entry fee is $25.

The parade lineup will begin at 11:30 a.m. on the morning of December 2. All floats should be in place by 12:45 p.m. Judging will begin at 1 p.m., and winners will be notified at 1:45 p.m.

The theme of the 2017 Christmas parade is “A Storybook Christmas.”
